I am so freakin' excited. My favorite dancer won! He seems like such a sweet guy and just so fun to watch. I think he deserved to win as well. I was so excited about it that i could not sleep and all i did was dream about it. (the times i did sleep that is) What is even better is now he gets to be in Step up 3D! That is one of my favorite dance movies and now one of my favorite dancers will be in it. I dont think it can get any better than that. The only bummer is now my favorite show is over and I dont have Thursday nights to look forward to. I have to say thanks to Alesa and Jacob for always Tivoing it for me and letting me crash at their house to watch it. Thanks guys!

Mirror Lake

Aaron got to come home for his 2 days R&R and so on Thursday we decided to get up early and head out to a lake and go canoing. Well the night before we had a BBQ at his brothers house and his brother suggested we take his raft and ores and go to mirror lake. We took him up on the offer, after all it is much better than having to rent a canoe right? So we got up early and bought us some lunchables for our meal and started our drive. The unitas are SO pretty right now.
We had a ton of fun. It was very relaxing just to sit and float out on the lake. We played go fish (the card game not really jump in the lake and fish LOL) and we just goofed off. We had a great time and I loved having time alone when normally life is so crazy busy. I also loved seeing him since he has been gone for so long.
I highly recommend trying this out. I would have to say it might be more fun down a river or something where you have somewhere to go because it did get tiresome of rowing to one side of the lake and then the "tide" brings you in so you row right on back out. It would just be a little more adventurous. All in all we had a great time. I would post pictures but once again they are on my camera and you know the story from there.

Domesticated

I cooked zucchini bread! Yes, sir I did. I got my recipe from my aunt and the zucchini from my landlord. A combination of 2 great things made some terrific bread. I also was very proud of myself and very proud that I did it all on my lonesome. The bread turned out TASTY. It felt good to be domesticated.

Well, for the past week I have not been feeling too hot, BUT i had gotten tickets to the musical Footloose and did not want to pass it up. I like going to musicals and theater stuff. Therefore, I was going to go come rain or shine. I had called in sick to work on Friday and really did not feel well. I thought that there had to be some way of fixing this problem because i wanted to attend the musical that night. I decided that I would load up on the pain meds and then just not eat so that my stomach was empty. I have to say it was a brilliant idea. I was a bit loopy but i really enjoyed myself. I thought they did a pretty good job. Thanks to Chelsea(pictured) I had a date.
All in all we enjoyed ourselves. I saved the sickness for later that night. :)

My new love

Yes, I have a new love. It is a love for this wonderful TV series BONES. I just got introduced late Saturday night from my landlords and they lent me their first season. Now most of you know that in the summer i manage to find more free time not having a boyfriend around and now that time is occupied by this show. I consider this my love of the summer. Last year it was 24 and this year it is bones. It does make the evening go by faster which is nice, but i just never stop with one episode. I end up watching a whole disk at least. So now only having watched it Sunday and Monday night I already need to borrow season 2.
I highly recommend this show if you are a person that likes CSI or Law and Order. I think it is a great show and a great time consumer. Thanks for keeping me company agent Booth and Temperance! I sure appreciate it.

Time for us.

I have a cute boyfriend. Last night was the last night we would see each other for 3-17 days minimum so he told me he wanted the night to be about us. So he took me to dinner at Cocolito's
Afterwards we went for a drive up squaw peak and looked out on the cities, got back in the car and drove up to a spot where all these pictures were taken and just walked around. When he was no longer going to get a fire call (@ 10:00) we got in the car and went on a little excursion. We drove from squaw peak to springville through the canyon. It was such a good time. I love the quality time we had and all the fun conversation. He is really sweet to do that for us since we dont see much of each other in the summer. I love him tons. Anyhow I cant download pictures from my camera so the only pictures I can ever post are ones I am able to take on my phone. Oh yeah, and that clean cut hair that you prolly dont notice cause he is wearing a hat, I cut!!! Yes I did it and he looks so much better.

For some reason when I go on sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I can not figure out what is wrong. So in other words sometimes it is cute and sometimes it is a pain in the butt.
