Way too much!!

Man, Why do i not know how to stop! I just eat so much.

So today for our BBQ at work we had the Manti turkey, but with chicken. It was soooo tasty. I liked it so much i decided to have another roll with some, but oh no I did not stop there. I had a ton of veggies, chips and 2 slices of watermelon. Holy smokes!!

This is a picture of me after my binge. Now I am so freakin' tired and so full that my stomach hurts.

I don't get to participate in the wonderful ice cream we are having for Erica's birthday but by the look of this picture it is a good thing. ( ha ha)

Yet another Fire Season

Wow, can you believe that just northern CA alone has 800 fires thus far and expecting more!

Wildland Fire fighters are such hard workers! Not only are they there when they put fires out, but they cut trees, cut line(meaning make a road for the fire not to cross), clean shrub so that fires do not start or can be manageable. They give up sleep to save homes and families or even wild life. They are always on the go and never really complain. I mean who really thinks caring 50 lbs of weight hiking miles a day is worth the money? Well if it weren't for these crazies we would all be burning. Someone has to have the passion, I just WISH it was not someone I love. LOL

For those of you that don't know I am dating a wildland firefighter (yes, I know you are thinking "isn't he an electrician?" Yes he is but in the summer he does firefighting.)
I ABSOLUTELY HATE fire season! It is NOT easy being in love with one AT ALL!
I hate it for many reasons... Lets just name a few...

- SO dangerous: For example he let me know that they had to "run to saftey". They had to stay in the saftey zone because otherwise they would have been burned over. Scary- sometimes i wish he did not tell me that stuff.

-He works a minimum of 2 weeks and only 2 days off. Ok so those 2 weeks usually is 28days. That is almost a whole month. And like with these stupid CA fires he gets his 2 days off, but needless to say he takes them in CA so therefore I do not get to see him on his time off.
*This sucks!!!**Esp when you miss your best friend.

-No cell service: Most of the time he does not get service so there are some fires I don't get to hear from him. No fun at all. If I cant see him you would think the next best thing is talk to them but NO! Not only that sometimes he is soooo tired that he cant stay awake for another second to call. Esp in 24 hour day cases.

-I MISS HIM!!!: What is a summer when the person you love more than anything is not around. You don't have dates because your date is gone and you don't want or feel bad being the 3rd wheel. You have no one to share your day with or feelings with. No one to hold you when you don't feel well. No one to share fun and exciting times with as well as sad days. You go to their family reunion without them, or family parties without them, you do EVERYTHING without them! And VERY FEW people truly understand or care. *****YOU FEEL SO LONELY*****

There are other reasons and thing that go on that are just so hard to explain. The best way to explain it is your best friend and person you care for more than anything being out somewhere it is dangerous and you can not share your life with for 6 months. It is not fun! It is sad! It is very exhausting on your relationship, Not easy and again not fun.

As for these CA fires... I feel so bad for all the people having to be evacuated, the firefighters working so hard with very little rest. The whole thing is sad. I could not imagine my life burning before my eyes. But i want to give a shout out to my wonderful boyfriend. I love you and so many people are grateful for what you are doing. I know I do not ever sound grateful, but i do think you are wonderful I just wish you were with me. What can I say I am a selfish brat.

Morphed!

So I did the celebrity morph and let me just say I did it many times with many pictures so that I may choose which person I wanted to feel like I looked the most like. For my sake I have to say that none of the pictures I used were the most attractive ones but I thought they might be decent.

Well I got results from Kirstie Allie, Hally Berry, Cindy Crawford, But this last time I did the morph it said I looked like Katherine Heigl! See, I dont want to look like Kirstie Allie but Katherine I would love to. The reason why I did not stick with those other choices is because It gives you like the top 10 or something and besides Krisite they were all on the bottom but Katherine was a number one at 80%. The best thing about this morph is you can decide if you would like to try again and pick who you look like. Great! That made me happy so that is what I am posting.

ConstructiveCriticism

WOW! I am no good at accepting constructive criticism. I really struggle with this! I really want to have help in many situations and I love to hear what people have to say but for some dang reason I just do not take it well. I feel as if people are pointing fingers and judging me. I dont have any idea why I do this. I try so hard to just be positive and live life so that others want to be friends with me and can come to me with anything, so when I get criticized I take it so personally.
I can not tell you how hard it is because it is like a double edge sword. On one side I need/ want help or to talk out my problems so it is great that people are willing. Now on the other side I just defend myself the whole time. I have no reason to do this because I really dont care so much what people think (Of course everyone cares a little, but not enough to do something different just cause they say I should). I need to learn to take it for what it is worth. People are not out to get me. I do not need to defend my choices.
Anyhow... I am just rambling and making no sense. Basically I just want to say to all those that have been helping me with my hard time or times in the past. I AM SORRY!
I do not know why I do this and I will really work on it. I love to hear what you have to say and if nothing else it is just so great to get it off my chest. I appreciate you all. Thank you so much for being there for me.
I guess we all have things we can improve and this is definitely one of my downfalls and I fully admit it. This is the next thing I will work on to be a better Kaime.

STOMP

I have a wonderful boyfriend. We were hanging out with our friend Steve and talking about this show that was coming to town. I just mentioned that would be fun to see and sure enough Aaron bought us tickets. This place was packed! I really enjoyed the show. These people have amazing talent and who would have known all the neat things you can do with trash can lids, water bottles, matches, brooms etc... This was a fun show and great entertainment. I highly recommend anyone to see it. There were even kids there and they seemed to really enjoyed it as well. Not only are they making music they make it a comedy truly exciting. It was a wonderful date and again you should all go see it when you get the chance.

Shout out to my awsome co-worker

So I wanted to give a shout out to my awesome co-worker Erica Wilkinson.

She is so sweet. At work I have some tasks such as buying the food for our friday BBQ's and to make little thoughts for our company cruise meetings. Well Erica is just so nice. She goes out of her way to thank me even if I know she does not like it. (Meaning the food i picked out) Everyone here will complain about they did not get what they want or why can we not have something else? Well I can not please everyone. Erica is just so kind to be quite about it and enjoy it for what it is. She is just so grateful. I truly appreciate it.

She will write me an email to tell me thank you and this week she wrote me a cute little message to thank me for the cruise treats. That is so kind! It is my job so she does not need to thank me and yet she does. I love it. - The picture of the message will be at the bottom of the post.

Not only does she humor me and tell me lunch was good, she is just so sweet to try and be a friend. She goes out of her way to ask me how my night and/or weekend was. She listens to me complain, cry, laugh, get excited and whatever else mood I am in. She says she does not mind and that she likes to talk with me, however sometimes I beg to differ. That is ok, though cause she makes me feel good.

One day I hope to be as cool and neat as she is. She is an amazing girl and I am so glad that we can at least be work friends. Hopefully I can maybe I can take the next step and be friends outside of work. LOL

Erica you are wonderful thank you for always trying to make me feel good. (even if it is not always the truth) Thanks for everything! I mean EVERYTHING!

So you think you can dance?

I have a confession to make. I LOVE the show "So you think you can dance". I love American Idol but LOVE So you think you can dance. I enjoy everything from the auditions to the top 20. Part of my confession is I have not even seen more than one season,but am so underly excited for this season. Possibly because I do not have TV so thanks to my co-worker Jacob and his wonderful wife Alesa I am able to watch this show.

I actually found out about it because I was reading the newspaper and found out that the 2nd season winner was Benji. I actually grew up with him in the same ward at church. His mom was my dance teacher for a while and he had been one of my dance partners. I felt like that was my claim to fame even though we have not seen or heard of each other for prolly like 8 years. Which means I knew his sister and cousin as well. They are all amazing dancers.

I am posting because I so badly want the season to already be at the top 20 if not top 10. I so enjoy watching them dance that it makes me giddy. I believe we have this week and next before the top 20 are announced. I can not wait. I wish I had their talent. Man if you have not seen this show I highly recommend it. Who knew people can move like that and just to see how talented they are. It is so impressive. All the hard work and things they have to do in order to do these moves. Amazing.
