Such a petty complaint but now I can post

It could just be me but almost every time I am at a store such as Target where they have the metal hooks that they hang products on (i.e. purses, tools, clothes etc) I will reach in to get what I need and when I pull my hand out I scrape my hand on the part that holds the label/price. I have yet to bleed from it until now. I feel they need to have little rubber bumpers on them so you dont injure yourself. The picture does not do it justice. It really drew blood and now just stings. Maybe I can make money on this! LOL

Happy Birthday Debi (9/27)

I just wanted to give a shout out to Debi Dix.

She is a wonderful person and a great friend.

She is also my hairstylist. I could never ask for a better one either. For so long I hated getting my hair done because it was never done well or as I liked. Now as long as I have gone to Debi I never fail to want to get a "new do". I have never disliked it and even if I felt it did not looked like I had imagined she is so willing to go back and do what ever needs to be done. I have even cried in her chair cause I got nervous and she never made fun of me just made me feel relaxed. If you ever wanna give her a try I have got her number just ask and you shall receive.

She is the cutest pregnant mommy to be and fun to be around.

Debi I just wanted to say thank you for your friendship and wonderfulness. (is that a word?)
Happy Birthday! I hope it is great.

Capitol Reef

Isn't it so pretty. It even looks like that in real life. Can you believe it. Nature is georgous!
Yes, I got to spend most of my weekend here. It started on Friday night where Aaron and I spent it at Whitney and Zac's new house. We played games and hung out. It was a ton of fun. The next morning we woke up and drove to Boondocks for my work summer party. That too was pretty fun. Well we then drove down to Loa to stay the night at "The snuggle Inn". Loa is about 20 min from Capitol Reef national park. We took a drive that night to see the sites and the next morning we woke up early to rent a four wheeler and be up close and personal with nature. There were deer literally about 4 feet away and let you walk up to them. It was perfect weather and everything. We had a ton of fun! We got home early monday morning and took the day off work to catch up on everything. I can not tell you how something so simple can be so much fun when you are with the person you care about.
I love how selfless Aaron can be with his time home by spending it somewhere else with me. I love our mini vacations. Also these trips are not cheap so that is another reason he is so selfless. It makes me feel appreciated and I love it.
I do not have any pictures to post because once again they are all on my camera and i do not have a way to download them. Sorry.

Its been a long time.

I has been a while since I last posted and I really do not know what to post about so today you get to hear my frustration. I DO NOT like fire season. Aaron is gone so much(granted this season he has been around a little more often) and MOST of the time he is gone he has no service. He leaves on these at min. 2 week intervals and for example this tour he has NO SERVICE. So I do not get to talk to him. It is so frustrating. He is my best friend and I never hear from him or am ever able to just chat with him. It makes me miss him even more! It is so hard to not even hear him say "how was your day?" "I love you." "Good-night" etc... It is also hard not to worry that he is ok. You know fires can be dangerous and with some of his stories of him cutting down trees he makes me nervous. Anyhow I just wanted to vent my sadness and frustration of how much I miss and love him. I can not wait to talk to him. I love you babe.

And the winner is...

Joshua!!!!

I am so freakin' excited. My favorite dancer won! He seems like such a sweet guy and just so fun to watch. I think he deserved to win as well. I was so excited about it that i could not sleep and all i did was dream about it. (the times i did sleep that is) What is even better is now he gets to be in Step up 3D! That is one of my favorite dance movies and now one of my favorite dancers will be in it. I dont think it can get any better than that. The only bummer is now my favorite show is over and I dont have Thursday nights to look forward to. I have to say thanks to Alesa and Jacob for always Tivoing it for me and letting me crash at their house to watch it. Thanks guys!

Mirror Lake

Aaron got to come home for his 2 days R&R and so on Thursday we decided to get up early and head out to a lake and go canoing. Well the night before we had a BBQ at his brothers house and his brother suggested we take his raft and ores and go to mirror lake. We took him up on the offer, after all it is much better than having to rent a canoe right? So we got up early and bought us some lunchables for our meal and started our drive. The unitas are SO pretty right now.
We had a ton of fun. It was very relaxing just to sit and float out on the lake. We played go fish (the card game not really jump in the lake and fish LOL) and we just goofed off. We had a great time and I loved having time alone when normally life is so crazy busy. I also loved seeing him since he has been gone for so long.
I highly recommend trying this out. I would have to say it might be more fun down a river or something where you have somewhere to go because it did get tiresome of rowing to one side of the lake and then the "tide" brings you in so you row right on back out. It would just be a little more adventurous. All in all we had a great time. I would post pictures but once again they are on my camera and you know the story from there.

Domesticated

I cooked zucchini bread! Yes, sir I did. I got my recipe from my aunt and the zucchini from my landlord. A combination of 2 great things made some terrific bread. I also was very proud of myself and very proud that I did it all on my lonesome. The bread turned out TASTY. It felt good to be domesticated.

..Kick off your sunday shoes...

Well, for the past week I have not been feeling too hot, BUT i had gotten tickets to the musical Footloose and did not want to pass it up. I like going to musicals and theater stuff. Therefore, I was going to go come rain or shine. I had called in sick to work on Friday and really did not feel well. I thought that there had to be some way of fixing this problem because i wanted to attend the musical that night. I decided that I would load up on the pain meds and then just not eat so that my stomach was empty. I have to say it was a brilliant idea. I was a bit loopy but i really enjoyed myself. I thought they did a pretty good job. Thanks to Chelsea(pictured) I had a date.
All in all we enjoyed ourselves. I saved the sickness for later that night. :)
